Borne is a medical research charity based in Imperial College facilities at Chelsea And Westminster Hospital with the aim to identify the causes of premature birth to save lives, prevent disability and create lifelong health for mothers and babies.
A diplomatic sports movement that uses football diplomacy and soft power to create dialogue and unite people.
Having learnt of the good work being carried out by the Randeree Foundation Investre chose to support the positive work of the foundation with a financial contribution for the year.
With the generous help of our friends & business partners Investre was delighted to have raised £4,500 following a 2015 Christmas Appeal fundraiser.
These funds were used in conjunction with local charity Glassdoor which operates homeless shelters during the winter months in the boroughs of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith & Fulham.
Investre went ahead & built 3 shower facilities in the main day centre run by the charity to give the homeless guests a dignifying level of hygiene. With the shelter having been identified we are now in the process of finalising the works schedule & hope to be able to start on site during Easter.
We are pleased to report that all showers are being regularly used & have started making a difference to the lives of our local homeless community.
